Today is my So's birthday and almost forgot completely! Last night we had a an argument so since this morning he's been upset and giving me the silent treatment. He probably expected me waking him up with oral sex. Anyways i just brushed it off and proceeded with plans i had told him 2 days ago. (Returns to get soon baby needs) He said ok..still upset. I got home and brought him his favorite meal and he says he wont eat it till later. Then while i was on the phone i remembered! And said happy birthday and sorry i forgot. Well i guess it wasn't enough. I went to finish the call asap and just when i was hanging up he left and said he was going to go drink. I felt soo bad the point im just crying my ass off trying to figure out the closest store to me. While i was getting the cake he sent me a text saying he went out drinking because at least his friends remembered and made plans for him. And sarcastically said that its ok i forgot even tho he always done everything for me. I understand he is upset for me forgetting but you know at least im trying to make it up and the day wasnt over yet.... what else can i do to make it up?

Edit: reason i forgot was because im under a lot of stress. We are financially broke and he hasnt been making any money at work.(bartender) we are behind bills and our baby is due in a few weeks and we still don't have the essentials.
