Another child or husband???

So my husband is 9 years younger than I am. We have a 2yr old, been together 6 years. I work 6 nights a week. We hardly see each other, when we do, I'm hardly attracted to him for the simple fact I don't feel appreciated! I do everything! Clean the house, laundry, chase after our son, grocery shopping, everything! He has the nerve to ask me "what have you done all day?" Really? Then I go to work!! I'm just tired of him not doing a damn thing to help me! When I come home, the house is a mess, dishes in the sink, trash over flowing, clothes all over the house, I just can't! Am I alone!? Am I being a bitch over nothing? I don't think so....

I don't let my husband do nothing. There was a point when I felt like this early in our marriage but I put a stop to that pretty quick. Don't take it, ask him to help! Some men need instruction.

You need to tell him how you feel and ask him to help you. I know it should be obvious, but if you keep all that anger inside your animosity towards him will only keep growing.

Have you tried a white board or black board list?

My mom used to make a huge list of everything that had to get done, put a time table on it, and told each of us, including my dad, that we had to choose and initial 5 tasks we were going to be responsible for getting done before the deadline, and that she would fill in the rest.  It gave a sense of ownership and commitment.  And the visual reminder on the wall made it harder to space the task.

Nope wouldn't put up with that shit if we both work we do 50/50 we switch off cooking, dishes, cat box (when not pregnant) vacuuming etc. Fare is fare! Though to be honest my husband has always taken the trash out lol I am now transitioning to be a stay at home mom and was talking to my husband about this, telling him that i plan to do the vast majority of house work and caring for our baby and cooking and all that but i even said look you will be working 9 hrs a day and have a 3 day weekend every other week, i will essentially be working 24/7 so i expect you to help out still. And he agreed.
You have to be straight forward and don't let him talk down to you!

No not alone my bf is the same way and I don't have my license so if I ask him hey can we go to the store to get food he says to me.. "can I relax I never relax"  I always Wana scream yes you do all you do is go to work then come home and sit in front of the tv the rest of the day or nap... wile I have to work clean cook and take care of my kids is so frustrating I wish I knew the secret to getting guys to help around the house or at least to get them to put there trash in the trash and there cloths in the hamper

Anyone would be upset and fed up! Write out how it bothers thentell him to how you need him step up for your sanity💜! My husband has been at home,unemployed for a year now. I've learned if you say something when your pissed, he usually ends up getting defensive and even more unproductive instead of hearing the importance of what I'm asking for. Hope he steps up soon!

Don't get me wrong, I love my husband! He's a very hard worker and a great dad, I'll NEVER take that away from him! He said to me the other night "I'm tired of being a single dad 6 nights a week" are you kidding me!!?? I am with our son from 6am till 530pm when I leave to go to work, and I wouldn't change that for the world, he has him from 6pm till 830 when he goes to bed!!! I don't think its to much to ask after he goes to bed, to clean up after you cook and straighten up the house, seems simple, but I guess men don't have the same mind set as women!!! Drives me insane! So no, I don't want to have sex with you!! I'm tired!

Stop doing it all, then he will realise how much you actually do. A home should be run by both of you, housework should be split especially if your both working.

This was me! I worked 4p-12a and got up with my son at 6a to get dressed and fed and ready for school. Meanwhile, I had a second to take care of during the day too. My husband didn't clean up after himself or our boys so when I came home at midnight, I was cleaning the house and doing the dishes. Yes it's annoying and stupid that they are like, "well I worked all day" and you're like (or maybe it's just me haha) "well I worked all night, AND cleaned the house you let get destroyed, AND got the kids around and dressed and one to school while not getting much sleep." Guys are annoying. If it weren't for the D I would've killed my husband by now. Just kidding. Sorta. Haha.
