Best Car Seat/Stroller/Travel System??

Help ladies!! I'm so overwhelmed by the thousands of options for car seats. Should I get an infant seat and then buy a larger one? Convertible? Attaches to the stroller or stays in the car?? HELP I'm so clueless. I've searched online and read reviews but I know this community will have some great advice. Ready, GO!!!

Personally, I would start with an infant seat. They are convenient and if baby is sleeping you can just remove the car seat from the car and go on with your activities, like eating out, or going to the store. If you start with a convertible, you can't do that and it won't attach to a stroller.

We started with a travel system because it's cheaper in the long run. The infant car seats have a 35 lbs weight limit (usually) so baby can actually stay in that seat for awhile. We switched to a convertible when my daughter was 14/15 months. She hadn't met any of the requirements for the infant car seat, but we no longer removed the car seat from the car, she was walking, and it was just easier for us.

This time around we will be using the infant car seat again and then going to the convertible when baby is older.

We got an infant seat/travel system for my car and a convertible car seat for my husbands truck. When baby grows out of infant seat, we are getting another convertible. We don't want to have to move car seats from vehicle to vehicle if we don't have to. That way we don't have to spend the money on an extra base either.
