Spotting before period ??

So I'm on the pill and my boyfriend and I had sex yesterday and the day before and then last night I had some spotting. I've been having cramps and back pain all week but I never spot before my period. I'm also still on my active pills, and tomorrow I'm supposed to get my period. Could I be pregnant??
