Does thrush hurt a baby??

It can be painful that's why they usually don't want to eat when they have trust. It needs to get treated because it probably will take awhile to go away and it does hurt. I had thrush my self several times with my first pregnancy and it wasn't pleasant. Couldn't hardly eat my toung aways hurt.

LO had this for a couple weeks around 2 weeks old and now it's gone she's 7 weeks. It never caused her any discomfort or pain

It can, yes. My daughter was never bothered by it though. She was given medicine and it went away.

She has had to have medicine 4 times a day and her mouth was sore indeed she would scream every time I put my Breast near her.

my LO had thrush at 2 weeks. I just thought it was milk left over in his mouth after he spit up a little bit. had to go for weight check 2 days later and that's when we found out. didn't really notice to much of discomfort, probably due to it just starting. dr gave us prescription for nystatin rinse and cleared up in about a week.
