U can have sex the day of ur test just that once u get the test done u cant have sex for 24 hrs !!!
Intercourse before hsg?
I have scheduled an hsg test on Monday, when I went to the fertility specialist they gave me a paper of what to do, with the medicine and it says no intercourse between day 1 of cycle and the hsg test.. When I made the appointment no one told me anything.
For the ones that did had it done, did it matter if you had sex or not?

No one told me not to. I had sex Thursday evening and had my hag Friday morning! Whoops if I wasn't supposed to! My paper didn't say not to either.

Ok thanks for replying. I wasn't sure so I said let me ask the ladies that have done it just to make sure.

I didn't get that info either and I also had sex the day before. My test went fine, the doctor said it was a textbook perfect hsg so it can't make too huge a difference

from what I just read, if you end up pregnant before the test, the test would terminate the pregnancy. it won't interfere with the test results though.
