Any young moms feel this way ?

Do you or did you ever feel like aomeone is treating as a child or disrespecting you as a mother just because of your age?

Okay so I am still technically a ftm. Yes I am 2 almost 3 years in, but I am still learning. Her father and I have been telling people not to cuss around our daughter and we have been working on our language as well. I had someone decide that it didn't matter what I say because I did it before. He is almost twice my age, but I still found his reaction to me asking him not to cuss around my daughter, because she is at the "monkey see, monkey do" stage. Is it a bit overreacting to not want to be his friend or have him around my children (I am pregnant with #2) ?
