Throat is disgusting

So I just got over a cold only for this to appear in my throat on my tonsil. As well there seems to be divits all over on my tonsils as well. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Update: went to the doctor and it was a sinus infection that was spreading into my throat through my snot. Gross I know, but I'm on steroids and antibiotics to clear it up! Thank you everyone!
