Meds to stop preterm labor?

Went into preterm labor last Monday and was discharged Thursday, the doctor proscribed me procardia to keep everything calm until its time to deliver, the meds does the job the problem is my lower half of my body is extremely swollen and its causing me alot of pain. Has anyone else experienced this? I go back to the doctor monday and I am hoping they can do some adjusting or proscribe something different.
