What is wrong with me?

I get so sad sometimes looking at my newborn. What if something happens to me, who's going to love her. Why do Ppl hurt babies? What if I hurt my baby by mistake. What if she stops breathing and  I'm sleep. Why is this world so cruel, what will happen to my child. She's so lil and helpless. What if I raise her wrong? How could I bring her into this cruel world, what was I thinking. 😢😢😢😢😳😳😳😳😦😦😦😦

When my daughter was just born. I used to think of that always. Now it crosses my mind here and there but not everyday as before. God has plans for all of us. He will find a way for everyone to be protected one way or other. Just keep loving your child and giving them the best you can. Thats all it matters :)

If it makes you feel any better, the world has always been a fucked up place. No generation before us would have ever thought any different! There is always immense good and terrible evil in the world, just try to raise your baby to be the former.

I think of all the same things, and when I hear or read abuse stories I get scared thinking what if someone did that to my daughter? Or the stories of people leaving babies in hot cars and finding them later and it's to late, those make me wanna cry all the time, I don't ever believe k would do that but it's made me sick to my stomach paranoid and scared

First day with the baby I couldn't stop crying. My mind was all over the place.  I thought about everything you've said even wondered how my family would take to my baby.  I even went as far as thinking who would actually say my baby was ugly. OMG it was bad.  My home nurse called it the baby blues. I cried every day for a week. But it did get easier.  Them thoughts went away and now I just look at him and smile and tell him he's mine all Mines.

I think like that too i cry for her and feel like I'm punishing her for making her go through life in general I feel like its my fault n I'm selfish for having her

I think about that too. I also think about how easy it is for baby to get hurt and it's scary. Like if I'm holding her on the couch and she rolls over she could seriously hurt her head. I think it's normal to worry and think about those things. It's part of being a mom and making sure you're careful. My baby is super strong already so I get nervous about that
