Can someone please tell me if I'm being really stupid or not?😳

I've been getting the depo shot for a number of months now and ever since my second shot my periods stopped completely not even had any spotting nothing! And I've been getting my shot on time every time. So does this mean I 100% won't get pregnant if I was to have unprotected sex? Since I'm guessing you need some type of period to at least get pregnant??

I was on it for 9 years and never got pregnant, when I got off it took months for my cycle to get back to normal even bleeding for weeks at a time or skipping a couple months period, took me almost 3 years to get pregnant after coming off the shot

I never used a condom when on that with my fella n never got pregnant also after I stopped it. It took over a year for me to get pregnant. Then 7 months another time.

I was in the Depo shot too. One thing it does is that it stops your period. I had unprotected sex and never got pregnant. So long as you take your shots on time, I can tell you from experience that the shot is very accurate in preventing pregnancy.

Up to 30% of the women in depo miss their period or have very very light short periods when n the depo. As long as you're getting your dose on time, you're covered for pregnancy.

My friend gets the depo for years and she has no period at all!!!
As I u derstood this is normal with depo and this is why many women choose it

I received the depo shot and by the second shot my periods were non existent. It ended up being BECAUSE I WAS pregnant. I got pregnant on depo.

When you get the depo shot it is my understanding you don't have a period anymore. I would think they would have informed you of this at the doctors office.

If you're on the Depo shot regularly & on time you should be fine... If you are on Depo then you're on birth control; which means you're not having unprotected sex. However nothing is 100%.

You ovulate before your period so just because you skip one period doesn't mean you won't ovulate the next month. Although if you are getting shots on time it's unlikely you would get pregnant
