Glucose test blood draw

Ok every post I see is so focused on the drink no one really talks about much else. I freak out when I have to go to a lab and get blood drawn (I no I no, it's no biggy) I read that you get blood taken b4 and after the drink...what I'm wondering is, is it a little prick from those things that diabetics use or do they actually draw blood like when you go in for your blood work in the beginning of your pregnancy?

I'm just trying to prepare myself so I'm not surprised tomorrow. My OB mentioned we would do the glucose test next time but she didn't say anything else about it...people are talking about what to eat before hand...everyone says eggs. I don't like eggs much unless it's a breakfast burrito with sauce and potatoes...is this not ok to eat? It's the least sugary thing I would eat in the AM.
