I'm wanting to move out by may of this year (the longest I'll wait is July). I want to stay in my area, and rent a trailer if possible. In my area trailers go pretty cheap. Skipping all of that, once I move out no matter where I go I want to have money in a savings account, that I don't touch unless I have a specific reason. Like if I didn't have rent for a month, or my son needed extra diapers. I receive food stamps, and it's only me and my son. Which one of these goals is more reasonable, yet still sufficient? Of course I'd continue adding to it once I moved out, I just am trying so hard to become a "self sufficient adult". Before moving, I have to buy a car, which my dad's a mechanic. And he said if I can find a cheap car (even if it needed work) he'd to the labor free. So I'd save money with that. Thanks!! (Any tips on saving money would be great 😂)
