When does 2nd trimester begin?

I have read different stuff does anyone know when the second trimester begins? Start of 13 weeks or start if 14 weeks?

My doctor goes by week 13 and so does Nurture aparantly because I got notified yesterday haha. But, it's "technically" halfway through week 13. My Midwifves that I went to with my son went by week 13 as well. I guess it's personal preference and your doctor :)

My dr considers 12+ weeks to be second trimester. Realistically it's just splitting hairs at this point anyway so just go with whatever in the 12-14 week range feels right to you.
