How soon did you go to the L&D room?

So I am 41 weeks!! This is my second baby. And I've been having contractions for the past 20 hrs they've been anywhere from 20-10 mins apart at times 8-12 mins.. 
How soon did you leave to the hospital?

I'd hate to get there still not be dilated enough and be sent home.. My plan is either to wait for my water to break or wait til I cry my lungs out..

I went in with mild back ache just to be on the safe side as it was snowing heavily and I was concerned I'd not make if I was in real labour. 
Got there and I was 7cm dilated, they filled the birth pool and 45 mins later my son was born. I was home 4 hours later and eating pizza on the couch 😅

Guess what ladies!!! I came in two hours ago, 2am my time.. And I was at 4cm. I have my epidural on and I can finally say that after 41 wks of waiting we will finally get to hold her!!! I gotta say I waited a lot longer than I did with my first baby. I feel proud of my self! 🙈😂 contractions were super strong to the point I felt like I had to vomit! Thankfully they just finished putting in my epidural and here I am sharing with you my status! 😁

I was supposed to be induced at my 42 weeks but I ended up losing my mucus plug at 41+5 and I had the irregular contractions but I still went an got checked at the hospital, they told me I was at 1cm still but I could either stay the night or go home, we went home then of course I went into full blown labor 10 hours later lol I was back at the hospital at 6am and dilated to a 3 😅

The day before my due date I went into labor and starting that morning I had light contractions, I woke up at 2 that afternoon and they were 4-5 minutes apart lasting 40 seconds to 1 minute and I didn't go to the hospital until like 8 that night I finally couldn't take it anymore and an hour after I got there my water broke! So I'm glad I went when I did. Once they're 4-5 minutes apart you should go!

Go to L&D when you feel you need to.  They can even give you meds to speed up labor or pain medication to help your body relax enough to dilate.

I would go once they become stronger & closer together very consistently at about 4-5 minutes apart. I'm 37.1 weeks, so I'm right behind you! Good luck momma!! Wishing you a heathy & quick L&D👶🏽
