Waiting is so hard!

So I had my daughter on July 28th, and I didn't tear but did end up getting internal stitches because I bled a lot. I'm about to lose my s*** waiting to have sex again! My husband and I haven't had sex at all when I was pregnant (he thought it was weird), and having to wait another 6 weeks is killing me! I go see my OB for my checkup on the 25th, obviously I do not want to mess anything up down there, it's just so hard waiting! How long does it take for those stitches to dissolve?
