Anyone thought they were having one gender but the baby came out the other gender?

Just wondering if and how often it happens. For some reason I'm scared that's going to happen to me.

It happened to my sister.  The initial technician said they thought bubs was a girl but they were only 60% sure, so my sister paid for a second scan with a private doctor who said bubs was a boy.

She ended up needing an emergency caesarian,  and they were presented with their beautiful daughter. Luckily,  a lot of the stuff she had was not gender specific (not that it matters) but she said next time they won't bother finding out :-P
