I have been with the same man for almost 10 years. We got married last September. His family was involved in the wedding and helped set everything up. His mother of course always had to put her two cents in and hated everything. We have a love hate relationship with her. One day things are good and the next day they are bad. Her and I go in a bad argument 6 months ago and haven't talked or seen each other until the other night. I gave her the cold shoulder. She said some things during our argument that I can't forget. But her health is failing her and I don't know if I should apologize to her. Be the bigger person first. His cousin and I also got into an argument and she recently apologized to be although I can't accept it. I feel like this is ruining my marriage and it's making me very bitter.
