Period pains and the sickness

So whenever I start my period on the first day I get really sick like throwing up dizzy lightheaded one minute I am cold the next I am pouring sweat the only thing that seems to help is to lay in a hot shower until I stop getting sick but it only happens on the first day though the rest of the time I am fine with like mild cramping..any thoughts on how to stop this?
