Can I be on maternity leave already?

Currently sitting in the bathroom crying my eyes out because I want to go home. This morning started out with a computer issue where I couldn't log into anything and it took the tech guy and hour to work on it. Turns out I fixed it before he could. My lower back aches, I feel like I may be having tightening in my lower belly but nothing crazy and I really just wanna go home. I feel like I'm gonna blow up on anyone and everyone. I'm 2 days from my stanford due date and 4 days from the due date my doctor gave me. I just wanna be home 😢😢😢

You should take a few days off! You need all the rest you can get! My due date is in 11 days, c section is scheduled in 4 days (baby is breached) and Thursday last week was my last day. I'm trying to get everything prepared and ready (we're living with my fiancé's parents until our trailer gets ready to move into (2+ weeks) and resting as much as I can. I understand wanting to work until the last minute bc that's how I was but work was stressing me out so much, it wasn't worth it.

My due date is Wednesday and I threw in the towel today sweetie I can't take it anymore I was in my car in my scrubs and I started crying called my manager and said I can't do it anymore I'm exhausted!!

I just came home from work. I was trying to work through back and stomach tightening like your having and it was not comfortable. I can work from home if I feel better, which is great but I am going to rest for now. My boss actually told me that he didn't want me to give birth there, so he was good about it.

My due date is in 12 days and I took off today. I'm so exhausted. I just needed another day of rest. I'm hoping I go into labor soon because I'm not sure if I want to keep working lol

I'm on the same boat, I'm having my c section next Monday. I talked to my doctor about taking off this week and she said FMLA doesn't cover us until the actual birth of the baby unless there's hb pressure or something like that. And pain didn't count toward it🙁🙁 we had a little conversation about how bad it was for moms. She said the best thing I could do it talk to my employer about taking sick days or something like that. I don't have any sick days 😭😭😭😭

Thanks mommies for letting me know I'm not alone. My only concern is that I may be in early labor but with back labor!
