Anyone know anything about Implanon?

Does anyone know anything about Implanon... I'm just over 9 weeks postpartum... I've had it now for three weeks... I got my first period since delivery August 3... And it still hasn't stopped... Is this normal??

I got the marana like three weeks ago and have been having light spotting since then too I heard it's quite normal till our bodies get use to the hormones I actually like having it in and can't wait for the lighter periods or even better the lack of periods my dr said it can cause them to stop and once you want it out you can try right away to have a baby he said the hormone leaves the body right away
