Metformin and Loss of Appetite (complaining)
Been on Metformin for a few months now and I am not very happy with it...My OBGYN insists that I keep at it because that's the only thing that's going to help me and there is not much else I can take that will do anything different but it's hard, the side effects make it difficult to keep on track and my appetite has plummeted. I hate eating food and worrying if I'm going to have to use the bathroom right after.
I don't know if my body has changed due to getting older or what but I can't have certain spices or foods because it gives me stomach and bowel problems, I can't eat certain meats or fried foods because the cooking smell makes me feel absolutely gross, I've lost my appetite on many occasions because food had an off putting smell or I was afraid that I was going to have diahrrea right after eating...
