What is the best type of school?

What do you personally think is the best education you can provide for your child(ren)? We all know how the education system in America is not the best, but we do have options and alternatives. So, what would you choose for your son/daughter who will be starting school in a couple of years?

I personally plan on homeschooling my son, I was homeschooled as a kid and I loved it, I ended up choosing to go to highschool and then chose to go back to homeschooled halfway through junior year. I loved it and I never became one of those weird socially awkward kids because of it.

I will choose public, because any private school around me is based off of religion and I do not like that, unless my child asked me other wise.

We will probably choose public school. I had a pretty good experience with the public schools I attended, they were all highly rated, had lots of extracurricular and were diverse. I think there are pros and cons to each type of education, but assuming we're in an area with fairly good public schools I think that would be the best option. I've heard some good things about charter schools but I don't even think those exist where we are currently.

I know a girl who went to a private Christian school, then switched to my public school, and she said that she was bullied much worse at her Christian school, than she ever was at public. It Traumatized her. 
I thought that was crazy but I believe her. 
We will do public schools BUT will not to the school bus. The bus is a bad bad place for little kids. The big kids DO NOT care and they will learn things, say things that they should not know at their age. 
I felt so bad for the little ones riding my bus. The big kids have no filter. So car rider for my boy it is.

My oldest is going to a charter school and i love it and it makes me feel so comfortable sending her there ❤

I'll send my children to public. Probably a small town country school. I went to private up until halfway through my freshman year and when my parents went to send me to public school I was over a semester behind so they decided to homeschool me for high school and it was the most miserable thing. I couldn't stand it I'm too social of a person. Plus my mom switched me to an online program my senior year and only 2 of my credits transferred and i ended up having to get my GED anyways. I'd never put my kid through all that nonsense.

I'd say public, personal preference. I did attend a private school and absolutely hated it, switched to a public all girls school and ended up loving it!
