I went into the hospital and was in early stages of labor. They decided to admit me and after walking the halls all night, going up and down stairs for hours, and bouncing on a yoga ball (9 hours) and no change. They decided it was time to release me to labor at home and expected to see me back within 24 hours. As they were doing the last set of vitals my water broke! So they couldn't release me after that... so they started pitocen 2 hours later and upped the dose every 15-30 for a couple hours. By the time contractions started to get really painful, there was about 30 intestinal before my son was born. 3 pushes and he was here. I'd like to welcome Daxton Lyric James to the world. He is so amazingly perfect and I'm so blessed!
