Diving over the finish line?

Question

In the admins 400 a racer dived over the finish line to win gold. Her feet didn't even cross the finish line, and I don't see how this can be even counted. A false start can get you eliminated but diving over a finish line is okay? I don't agree. 
This girl is a fantastic runner and I feel she herself should have crossed the finish line in a way that was fair to everyone in the race, including herself. 
Before someone says she fell, there's no way she did! I watched over and over, the girl dove.

It's like in the Pixar movie Cars when Lightning McQueen stuck his tongue out when crossing the finish line just to tie with that other racecar...aka a total bullshit win in my opinion.

That's ridiculous!!! Absolutely wrong. I saw a guy get disqualified the other day for a false start and you could tell it was totally a mistake. I felt horrible for him. And I agree. This is absolutely ridiculous and unfair!

Well she's technically kept within the rules since is who ever has their torso across the finishing line first.

That why so many athletes thrust out their torso if it's a close race for medal positions.

She's basically worked the rules to her advantage.

Fair Win.. The win is determined by which athlete has part of their torso cross the line first. She's allowed to dive. I heard this was done a few times by other athletes during the trials to qualify for the Olympics also

It doesn't matter if her feet aren't over the line they count if your torso is over the line so diving is completely fine and fun to watch
