When should I go to the hospital I had light red spotting twice today, now I'm having contractions that are 5-8 minutes apart. ??

Answer

When contractions are 4 to 5 minutes apart lasting more then 30 seconds. Or obviously if your water breaks. But do not wait for your water to break if your contractions are at this point

When did your doctor instruct you to go in?  How far along are you.  Have you called your nurse?  Have you drank water and layed on your side?

I was told to go to the hospital when my contractions were 10 apart or when my water broke.
