any tips on getting rid of facial redness and acne scars??

My skin is clear but there is just a lot of redness everywhere and acne spots:/ happy to say I'm still confident though:)

Well, acne scars are the pitted marks. The red marks are called hyperpigmentation, and yes you can get rid of them! Theyre basically inflammation so you need to really calm your skin. A BHA exfoliant is great to calm inflammation because it is salicylic acid which is closely related to Asprin. Paula's Choice just launched a BHA for soothing red skin so maybe check that out? They also clean the pores, reducing new breakouts and help with cell turnover.
Also, you have to wear sunscreen. You just gotta. The hyperpigmentation will get darker from the sun and won't fade as easily.
Soothe your skin in all ways you can. Aloe, no harsh chemicals (get rid of any products with lots of alcohols). They'll fade...itll just take some time.
