Tampon + Peeing = NO WAY!!

Does anyone else have troubles keeping their tampon in while they use the restroom? I tried it once and cannot get myself to do it again!!! My mom swears it's normal and I wish I was comfortable with doing it (probably saves a lot of tampons) but I just can't :(
