I said no because I don't believe it's the most common trait. There are, however, definitely many people out there who are in polyamorous or open relationships and that works for them.
That said, it kind of seems to me you're drawn to the nostalgia and possibly "romance" of being with your high school sweetheart. That's 100% speculation, though, not based on much.
Think about if you're torn because you truly love the other guy and/or because you're losing the initial honey moon period with your current. How long have you been with your current? Ask yourself these questions.

Yes, it is possible. I am madly in love with my husband who I met when I was 15 years old. He's my best friend, my partner, my other half. But there is another man who I've known the same amount of time who I had a deep connection with, I feel as if we will always love eachother but we are both in marriages now and respect each other's relationships ( we don't talk anymore but we're neighbors). I think sometimes, another time another place maybe things would have been different but I'm meant to be with my husband.
