Is anyone taking Zofran for nausea?

I take a very small dose of zofran, like 4mg, right before meals so I can keep food in me. They just prescribed me Phenergan at a higher dose though because I was more comfortable with it. People wouldn't shut up about it and I got tired of feeling guilty and angry at other people...we'll see how the other prescription goes.

I had a lot of problems with my 1st pregnancy.
And  I took it a lot. I took it every 4 hours through my iv. Nothing bad happened to the baby and I was a very high risk case. ( homecare for 7 and half months). I'm pregnant again and I take it every 6 hours now.

Yea there's so many risk and complications that could come from it. Hey tried to prescribe it to me and I couldn't consciously take it without feeling guilty. :/

My doctor has stopped prescribing Zofran. They recommend you take up to 200mg of vitamin B6 a day to help with nausea.  It will not help with vomiting. So for that they recommend Unisom (yes the sleep aid) 1 tablet at night with 1 vitamin B6 at 100mg. The Unisom is supposed to relax the digestive tract to make vomiting less likely. I'm personally afraid to try the Unisom, but I am taking the B6 and it is helping with nausea.

Was going to start taking it but I've seen a lot of commercials recalling it saying it cause birth defects so I looked it up and there's a whole bunch of lawsuits on it so I won't take it I'd rather just deal with the nausea and vomiting a million times a day then risk of deformity
