Anyone else? Pre-eclampsia??

Question

31 weeks and Doctor found 2+ protein in urine and sent it off for culture.. I only have one kidney that functions. I haven't had any protein in my urine or uti's my whole pregnancy this is the first time and I've read most of the time it means pre-eclampsia..?? My blood pressure has been around 120/78 every time I've went to the doctor...

What did they do if it was/wasn't pre-eclampsia?

I have a lot of edema. They found protein in my urine BUT my blood pressure was normal. They said because I'm 39 weeks already they are just considering it's normal for how far along I am!

I don't this time around but my last pregnancy I had late signs. I didn't find out until I went into labor. It's always safe to stay away from anything high sodium and just don't add salt to things. Drink lots of water, and try not to stress. I got very swollen and couldn't stand more than 5 mins haha it sucked but as long as you are aware it could be a potential complication you can prevent it by being extra cautious!
