Back to back?

Question

Today at my 34 week midwife appointment I found out that my baby is head down but back to back. Is this bad? What happens if my baby doesn't turn the right way by the time I go into labour?

It's still "okay" it just means the baby's back is up against yours. This may mean more pain during labor, which is why some women experience "back labor". But don't stress! The baby is just fine and delivery will still go just as smoothly if the baby was back to belly.

I was told to wash the floor laughing and baseboard by hand on hands and knees and gravity helps to roll their back to your belly and away from your spine. Plus you'll have crazy clean floors and baseboards 😂

My son was that way. We had a 42 hour labor, but he was a vaginal birth.   It's all back labor, which is uncomfortable. Do some yoga cat cows to help encourage kiddo to flip.
