Protecting baby from the sun...what products do you use?

Hey moms! How does your LO do in sunny conditions? Mine always arches her back to try to get away from the sun. I have a wide brim sunhat I put on her, but are there any other products I should consider? Sunglasses?? Thank you!

I use the baby aveeno sunscreen

We are typically in the stroller or under the shade of an umbrella, as sunscreen isn't good for their skin before 6 months. We do have baby sunglasses, he uses the babiators brand which stay on very good, and have a head strap just in case he knocks them off.

It's not recommended to use any type of sun screen until baby is 6 months old. Shade, sun hat, and (if going into a pool) I use a long sleeve onsie.

I use a sun hat with spf in it and try to keep him in the shade as much as possible. My dermatologist said these babies will live to be 100 so do whatever you can to keep them from getting sunburned so if you have to use a little sunscreen that is better than nothing. I've used babyorganics brand but just do my best to keep him out of direct sunlight. We live in California btw.
