Natural birth?? 😐

I've been going back & forth with the idea of natural birth..kinda scared! I'm a FTM..by the way! Any pros & cons?!

Everyone's pain threshold and tolerance is different. Honestly, you won't know if you need help with pain until you're in actual labor. 
Some women can tolerate 8/10 pain with a breeze, and look down on people that need epidural. Where others can't even handle 2/10 pain without being in agony. 
Remember: pain is subjective. Only YOU can decide what's tolerable and what's not. 
Just wait till the big day and you'll know then 😊

Don't put the stress on yourself of feeling like you need to choose a birth plan. 
As a nurse, I can tell you that you do not need that extra pressure on yourself. As long as the baby arrives safely and you are healthy as well, that is what really matters. 
I am a first time mom, due in October.
My plan....to show up with no expectations and do whatever is necessary to have a healthy birth/baby. Every birth is different. If I decide I can handle the contractions, okay. If I decide I need an epidural, okay. You've got this!

Read Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. I am going to try to go natural and this book really helped me get into a great mindset for it. The first stories of real births are a little hippy dippy but keep pushing through and you'll get to the good information. It might help you make a decision.

This is my second pregnancy.... I wanted a natural birth with my first. 16 hours into labor the pain was terrible, contractions 1 min apart that lasted for 45 seconds, I was exhausted, and i wasn't progressing past 5 though my water had broke. Everyone kept telling me I had to relax to allow progression to happen. Um 15 seconds every minute is not a lot of time to relax.
My dr gently suggested an epidural and i agreed. 2 hrs later I was dialated to 10 and my son was born after pushing 1 hr. 
The epidural was amazing. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to feel anything and my legs would be "noodle-y". It wasn't like that. I could still feel contractions, could lift my legs myself, and it just made everything more enjoyable.

For my 2nd I'm getting the epidural right away!

From the day I discovered I was pregnant I told myself "Nesh, you have to go natural." That is until I got sent to the e.r around 12 weeks b/c my ovarian cyst was twisting. The pain was so unbearable to the point where it made me 2nd guess going natural.

Now at 32 weeks I have decided I'll try my hardest to go natural BUT if I can't I won't hesitate to get an epidural.

Same here my mom did natural with all 9 of her kids and that's what I plan on doing natural but if I can't take the pain I will get the epidural but plan is to try to do without
