35 weeks and blood?

This is my 2nd pregnancy but the 1st was 6 years ago and entirely different. I am 35 weeks and had a few real contractions a few days ago. Tonight I noticed some light blood when I went to the bathroom...should I be worried or is this normal? I should say I am worried because I still have 5 weeks to go but am wondering if this is normal and I just didn't experience it before...
