Would this make me a bad mom? It's just one night 😔

So last November, my boyfriend surprised me with annual universal tickets!!! It came with a free Halloween horror nights pass. Fast forward to February, i find out I'm pregnant! I'm due in early October, I'd love to be able to go on oct30th up to Orlando for Halloween horror nights. He paid a lil extra on the annual pass so we'd have these tickets and I don't want them to go to waste. I've never been. We'd leave our babygirl with the grandparents for a night, would it be bad if we went?😓

No, but when my baby was less than a month old it wouldn't have been my idea of a fun time!

I had stitches which bothered me for several weeks and I wasn't getting a lot of sleep at that point. Plus I'm not sure if the rides would cause bleeding and possibly soreness. If you just walk around and do games you'd be fine though.

If you're planning to breastfeed and not supplement that will also complicate things because you'll need to have pumped milk ready to go and you may need to pump while you're away.

Don't feel guilty! I did at first but now I'm more than happy to take a night away. Keeps us moms sane and not so stressed all the time. Gives us time to breath and relax. I try to have a night out with hubby once a week. Makes our relationship that much better! But of course my son stays with his aunt so it's a win win for him. He loves it over there 💙

Do not feel guilty for leaving baby!! I felt so bad leaving my little man the first night but honestly sometimes it's nice to be yourselves again instead of "mommy and daddy" and be a couple for a night! It's very nice to have time to yourselves as much as you love your baby. And it's nice for grandparents to spend time bonding too!

It's not bad if you're okay with it. I wouldn't be able to, and you may find that once baby comes you won't want to leave but it's not wrong if you're cool with it
