Should i wake my baby?

My son is due a feed but he has been awake for hours and literally just fell asleep there the now, he is 7 weeks and his weight is great, he guzzles down 5/6 oz per feed. So my question is should i wake him for his feed or let him sleep?

Id let him sleep! When he is hungry he will wake up and I'm sure let you know! I have a 7 week old too and I won't wake him to feed him because when I have he doesn't eat it anyways and falls back to sleep! Give yourself a little break :-)

Never wake a sleeping baby. After hey are at their birth weight there isn't a need. They'll let you know when they're hungry.

My baby was eating plenty and gaining weight quickly since day one. As a nervous first time mom I would wake her after 2-3 hours of sleeping for the first month or so... For our second child I will be doing it differently! If she is sleeping, let her sleep (unless she is underweight).

Do what you think is best. I change my babies diaper while he's sleeping and he wakes up hungry. So I feed him. You can feed on demand but my baby will sleep for 5-6 hrs if I let him. I breastfeed, and have to relieve myself every 2-3 hrs or I get engorged, I'm an overproducer.

It can hier to let him sleep, but maybe just for an hour. So that he can feed then..

Beyond the first couple days where I was told I had to wake him I let my LO sleep. He will wake when he's ready. He's slept through feedings and then woken up upset but he still wakes up eventually. (11 weeks old)
