Low placenta???

Question

I had my 20 wk ultrasound and they told me that not only is our daughter only in the 23rd percentile but my placenta is low which could cause complications later. Anyone one else have this? When is the placenta supposed to move up?  They told me this isn't uncommon with women over 35. They are going to do another ultrasound in 8 weeks to check again.

Had low lying placenta with my first and third pregnancies on 20-week ultrasound and both had "migrated" by the third trimester.  Neither were an issue.

Mine is low too and completely covering my cervix.  I go back in 4 weeks for another scan to check to see if it's moving up.  Hoping it does but if not I was told I would have to get a c-section

At 20 weeks mine was low. As baby grows so does your uterus and alot of times your placenta will move up. Otherwise they'll do a c section.
