Pregnacy announcement?

I want to include our beloved cat, Gypsy. I plan on writing on a collar "Mom & Dad are getting me a HUMAN!! :)" with a little heart tag that says "Expecting April 2017" and i'm going to tell my husband something like "Hey babe, can you go take the collar off of Gypsy. It looks like it's bothering her." and when he finishes reading, i'm going to hand him the pregnacy test with a bow tied around it! Opinions or any suggestions to make this announcement better? Also, how did you announce your pregnacy? 💕
