Feminine products for postpartum?

The last thing I want to worry about after I give birth is my husband and I going to the store for feminine products.  I would like to stock up now so I have one less thing to worry about.  So for those who've had babies already, what specific products/brands do you recommend?

I like the Always night pads with with wings. They're not as thick as the ones the hospital gives you so they're more comfortable and theyre long enough to really protect you, no matter if you're sitting, standing or laying down.

This is baby #5 for me. I recommend whatever fluffy, pillow-like pads you can find for the first week or so when your bottom is reeeeaaaally sore and you will appreciate a soft landing when sitting or in bed. Also, you want that most protection you can get in the beginning, you will loose a lot of blood and fluids, so get night time ones that are long and cover a lot of space in your undies. After you heal up down there, you will probably want the thinner more discreet pads, if you are still bleeding. Also, buy some postpartum undies that you don't care about getting ruined. I also recommend "padsicles", pads soaked in witch hazel then frozen. The first 24 hours or so they are heavenly on your sore or stiched up parts. Bring the peri-bottle (squeeze bottle) home that they give you in the hospital too. It's vital for cleaning down there after going pee...you will not want to rub with TP! I got poise pads for incontinence because they're super fluffy and comfortable and they hold way more than period pads do. That's what they gave me at the hospital and I loved them. Definitely can't wear leggings or anything skin tight if your going somewhere but I didn't leave the house for like 3 months anyway so I didn't care 😆

I've heard to "steal" the ones the hospital provides, that they are the best! Then when those run out use incontinence pads since they are a lot thicker.

Get as thick as you can. The swelling makes it hard to sit so the more cushion the better. Especially if you tear really bad like I did. Hoping it's better this time around. I'll probably be stocking up on poise cause they're thicker. And don't forget tucks!

So with my first I had a c section. The first week i used over night pads with wings, then just went to a panty liner. You bleed less with a c section. This time I'm attempting vbac and will stock up on over night pads with wings. Pads with wings are my personal favorite.

I've not had a baby before, but after my miscarriage I used the always infinity pads. They're made of a really absorbent foam and they come in an overnight length. They held a lot of... fluids.

Here we have maternity pads which are super thick sanitary towels. I've got those each time because even with sections there was a lot of blood and I didn't feel a normal night pad cut it! Do you have anything like that?

Wondering the same. Sil just had 4th baby and recommends always overnight pads, Bff just had first baby and recommends maternity pads. Think I'll try one of each
