Home fetal doppler?

Question

Ive been given a fetal doppler and was wondering if anyone knew if these were accurate and safe to use? Im 13 weeks and 4 days would i be able to pick up the babies heartbeat yet?

Ive heard mixed reviews about it. I went on the FDAs website and researched it and they didnt recommend them so i have choosen not to use them. But i know alot of women on here say "I used it on my baby and they turned out fine" i just choose not yo take unnecessary risks.

I'm 14 weeks and first used mine at 13.5 weeks, I use it for a second just to put my mind at ease. If your a first time mom it can be hard distinguishing all the noises in there, but I found the baby's heartbeat easily.

After a miscarriage, the Doppler helps me keep calm, especially when I had a few days of spotting with this pregnancy. My OB said its totally fine, and I use it when I need reassurance. I love mine!!! I found the heartbeat at 10 weeks and can find it within a second now at 13 weeks. I know exactly where my baby is thanks to the Doppler. I don't use it over 10 minutes ever, and when I use it daily (during spotting) it's for seconds only. I recommend getting one- they're fun!

I bought a home Doppler when I was 11 weeks and found the heartbeat no problem. I have heard that no real tests have been done to prove if they are indeed harmful OR safe. I figure just a few moments on my belly a couple times a week isn't to harsh 😁. I wouldn't use it every day three times a day. It definitely puts your mind at ease In between appointments hehe.

I had mine since TTCing and I wad able to pick up the heart beat clearly at 11 weeks at home.  My first ultrasound was at 6 weeks and they said my babies heart beat was strong last sonogram was at 12 w 6 days and they said the same 160 bpm both times I guess it depends on where your baby is positioned and how strong their heart beat is but you should be able to and it's safe I know lots of moms who have used them.

Just got mine yesterday I have used it twice since getting it once yesterday and once today . It's every easy to find baby and after two miscarriages it's a peace of mind. I'm 12w4d it's fun you should try one
