Is this too much?!

I'm new to formula. My son is wanting to eat 6 oz every 2.5 hours. Isn't that a lot?! It's the hypoallergenic pre digested protein formula. He is 3 months old and 16 pounds.

My doc said baby should eat 2-2.5 ounces per pound total per day. So for your baby 32-40 per day. My girl is 15lbs and eats about 6oz every 3 hours except at night time. She's around 30-32oz per day. She's 3 months.  And adorable 😍

My daughter is 3 months and probably 15lbs. She takes 5 oz every 3 hours if we are lucky. Sometimes she will only eat 4 and want to eat 1.5-2hrs later.

My son does about 4 to 5 oz every 3 hours.  Sometimes he will want to eat earlier if he only had 2 or 3 oz at the last feeding.  He is 16 weeks today he weight 15 pounds.

Ha! My guy was 15.8 at his TWO month check up but he's also 25 1/4 in long so he's perfect. He eats constantly! He's my chunk.

Goodness! Well my guy is 3 months and I think he's probably about 12 - 13 pounds now max. He eats every two to three hours and takes 2-4 ounces each time. BUT when he was going through his growth spurt about a week ago he ate a total of 18 ounces in a four hour span so I think it just depends. As long as he seems healthy ans happy and is gaining the appropriate amount of weight I would think the amount he drinks is normal for him as an individual.

Is this too much?!
