If your partner had his sperm frozen before he passed away, would you use it to have another child after his death?

Now at first I was like yes of course but when I thought about it I couldn't decide whether it would be fair on the child to grow up without a father (given that you're single and don't plan on being in a relationship for at least a few years and your SO and the father of your child only passed away a year ago)?

I know there's plenty of fatherless kids and kids who's fathers passed away prior to their birth but I feel like this situation is completely different and was wanting to see what people would do in that type of situation?

I would. I'd raise our kids to know who their dad was, why we loved eachother and why we decided together to continue to grow our family even after his passing.

With lots of resources and a big support system, yes. It might make the talk a little strange when it happens, but I can't see another drawback that wouldn't be there in any other fatherless kid situation.

It depends on a lot of things, like if the partner left a good life insurance policy or if you had enough money, or if he consented to children after death. I probably would because my fiancé wants kids.

Yes I would and if the sperm isn't frozen there is s way to collect the sperm after he dies. I have read into it

We already have one. If anything would happen I wouldn't want 2 kids without their father...1 is more than should be.
Also pregnancy and giving birth is emotional enough
It would break my heart every second I think about it because I'd have to realize he is not here anymore
