Christian Friend?

I have a friend who is very involved in her church and is Christian. I am Catholic. We disagree on some things and I honestly don't think she knows what her church supports and is a blind follower. She is discriminatory whenever same sex relations are brought up. Like, very rude. I am not I believe that anyone should be able to get married. We both agree in sex until marriage and yet some of the things she does do not match up with her 'beliefs'. I am not trying to shame her she can do as she pleases no judgement. Basically I don't think she truly knows what she believes and just follows whatever her church (baptist) tells her to. Think she needs to open her mind beyond her church and figure out what SHE believes and understand what she's being told. Thoughts?
