It isn't really a period because you have no reason to have one if you're pregnant. However, you can have spotting throughout your period. My sister spotted the entire time and since she always had irregular light periods, she didn't think anything of it. She delivered my nephew herself. Thank God because of the pain she was in, she had gone to the ER. She had gone to the bathroom thinking she needed to poop and out came my nephew. We never knew she was pregnant and she didn't have Amy symptoms.
