Holiday in Italy: is a little red wine okay?

Holiday in Italy: in about 10 weeks I'll be visiting Venice and Florence. I would like, however controversial, to have a couple (no more) of glasses of local red whilst there. How do other pregnant women feel about this considering recent research suggesting low intake is harmless?

Personally i wouldn't touch alcohol whilst pregnant especially if your high risk. Its not worth risking. Theirs no solid information to state its safe to consume during pregnancy. But each to their own upon opinion

There hasnt been enough research to deem a safe amount. Better to be safe than sorry i think. :)
