mom doesn't approve of my older boyfriend

I'm 22 years old & my boyfriend is 33 years old. My mom doesn't approve of us being together because we had sex way too fast in our relationship plus he was my first. It hurts not having her approval but I can't help the way I feel about him. Yes there is a significant age difference between us but we don't let that bother us. Idk what to do!
