Highlighting with oily skin?

I love the look of highlighters on other people and I want to wear them too, but I have oily skin and I try my best to keep my face matte. I love my highlight until I get oily, them I feel like I am way too shiny. What do I do?

Actually oily skin is easier to use highlights with- especially cream products. If keeping your whole face matte is something you enjoy then keep going, however by using a foundation for normal to dry skin and only powdering your T-Zone, ( the Bridge of your nose and the centre of your forehead) you will achieve a fresher look, I use a cream highlight mixed with coconut oil, which sounds scary I know but the results are gorgeous!! I patt it on with my beauty blended and or fingers! Hope this helped :)

I have really oily skin too... I notice when I only apply a little highlight it doesn't make my face look oily. I use Mary-loumanizer by The Balm on the cops of the cheek bones, cupids bow, tip of my nose, and a very very light swipe on the bridge of my nose.

Try it out..remember use a very light amount.. u will be glowing(not the grease ball type lol)
