Sick after ovulation?

Hi Ladies. Please help I have no idea what's going on! I have just started taking OPKS and got my first LH surge on cycle day 16. My SO and I BD'd on that day. I woke up cycle day 17 sneezing like crazy and a runny nose all day, also had cramps on my right ovary side. I am now on cycle day 18, woke up with a stuffy head, headache, runny nose, feeling faint and a little sick. Cramps have dulled down now, but still there. Could this illness prevent conception at all? We also BD'D about 4 days prior to surge, but that was it!! Any insight would be so appreciated! Thanks again
