Which birth control?

I'm currently on the implant, but my periods are wacky on it and I've gained 15 pounds on it, so I'm looking into getting on a different birth control. I'm looking for one that's just as effective as the implant, but doesn't have such crazy periods and weight gain isn't such a common problem. Any ideas?
